Team Build

Bradley-Barnes has become an industry leader in the Wilmington area for our team-build and design-build capabilities. Each management team is involved in the project during all stages of construction. Initially, an estimating team and project manager assist the client and architect during the design phase. They provide budgeting, construction method and technique evaluations, material evaluations, and consulting with the other team build members. They also determine the final estimate of the project cost.
After the estimate is completed, the project manager oversees, organizes, and coordinates the project and the project team. This ensures that the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and with the high quality of the workmanship required by the contract documents. The project manager functions as Bradley-Barnes' front line representative of the owner-architect-builder team.
The next team member from Bradley-Barnes is the project superintendent, who is responsible for on-site management. He/she ensures that both company personnel and subcontractors perform their work on schedule, adhere to quality standards and workmanship, and maintain the proper level of safety awareness. He/she also develops a cooperative working relationship with the team-build members, promoting a high degree of cooperation, communication, and coordination between the job site and other team members.
