History

As the construction industry in the eastern region of North Carolina was just beginning to expand, Bradley-Barnes Construction Company was incorporated on August 30, 1994. The founders, Scott Bradley and Tim Barnes, combined what was then twenty-five years of construction experience to begin a business based on the concept that they were not only constructing buildings but were building long-term relationships with their clients.
Bradley-Barnes continues to blossom off of their deep Carolina roots. After working together for a local contractor, entrepreneurs Scott Bradley and Tim Barnes renounced their independence to form Bradley-Barnes Construction. Working out of Tim’s garage in Burgaw, the two began doing small commercial construction in late 1994. Bradley-Barnes Construction would ride the economic “boom” of the coastal Carolinas having grown in employee and financial volume. During the 15 years of business, Scott and Tim have undertaken a variety of projects ranging from small commercial, residential renovation, retail, multi family, and churches. Although Bradley-Barnes Construction basis its company out of Wilmington, their work can be seen with in a 3 hour radius and continues to outreach into new markets
